Apparently (I may be very anycodings_ffmpeg mistaken here) because from Global it anycodings_ffmpeg goes to the 1stChapter (or audio stream) anycodings_ffmpeg but only when it doesn't exist, not anycodings_ffmpeg after. The problem I was facing (similar to anycodings_ffmpeg yours) is that the metadata is well anycodings_ffmpeg written the 1st time you write it, but anycodings_ffmpeg any other attempt to edit/modify it anycodings_ffmpeg fails. When you use -metadata you write to the anycodings_ffmpeg Global metadata. This option overrides metadata set with -map_metadata See -map_metadata documentation for details. My head is still spinning around this anycodings_ffmpeg topic, but here is what I found thanks anycodings_ffmpeg to described in the documentation, -metadata key=value (output,per-metadata)Īn optional metadata_specifier may be given to set metadata on streams, chapters or programs. So far anycodings_ffmpeg I haven't been able to find a lot about this anycodings_ffmpeg online other than variations on this anycodings_ffmpeg command, however, I think that is mostly due anycodings_ffmpeg to the fact that I am not entirely sure what anycodings_ffmpeg keywords I should search for. Most of what I have tried so far have only anycodings_ffmpeg been making a metadata text file from anycodings_ffmpeg scratch to see if there were some issues anycodings_ffmpeg with the metadata I was extracting from the anycodings_ffmpeg video file using ffmpeg -i path/to/video anycodings_ffmpeg file -f ffmetadata path/to/metadata. Is there a way of anycodings_ffmpeg forcing the metadata to be overwritten by anycodings_ffmpeg the new metadata file? So I am using ffmpeg -i path/to/video file anycodings_ffmpeg -i /path/to/metadata -map_metadata 1 -codec anycodings_ffmpeg copy path/to/output file to merge the anycodings_ffmpeg metadata file with the video file but if the anycodings_ffmpeg video file has already been through this anycodings_ffmpeg command once the new metadata won't stick, anycodings_ffmpeg only the old ones remain.
I am having some issues overwriting the anycodings_ffmpeg metadata on video files using FFmpeg that anycodings_ffmpeg already has metadata added to it anycodings_ffmpeg previously(previous metadata also added by anycodings_ffmpeg FFmpeg).
